Cleaning Initiative

Cleaning Initiative is an environmental awareness and community action program launched by Mohsin-Fatema Youth Welfare Foundation (MFJF) to promote cleanliness, sustainable living, and environmental protection across beaches, public spaces, and urban areas.

Through this initiative, MFJF organizes large-scale cleanliness drives, awareness campaigns, and sanitation programs with the participation of students, volunteers, social organizations, and local communities. The program aims to inspire people to take collective responsibility for protecting nature, reducing pollution, and creating a cleaner, healthier, and more habitable environment for future generations.

One of the major activities under this initiative was the “Clean Guliyakhali” campaign at Guliyakhali Sea Beach, Sitakunda, organized as part of the Youth Festival 2025. The event promoted awareness against the use of polythene and polypropylene shopping bags and encouraged eco-friendly alternatives to preserve the natural beauty of the beach. Government officials, volunteers, and environmental organizations joined together to support sustainable environmental practices.

Following this success, MFJF organized the “Clean Patenga” campaign at Patenga Sea Beach in collaboration with BD Clean, Tourist Police, and under the patronage of Robi. Around 400 university students and volunteers participated in the program, where the beach was cleaned and dustbins were installed at important locations to encourage proper waste disposal. The campaign also included public awareness activities, cultural performances, and community engagement initiatives focused on environmental responsibility.

To further expand the movement, MFJF launched “Operation Clean Sitakundo,” a city-wide cleanliness campaign aimed at raising awareness about sanitation and proper waste management among the people of Sitakunda. Starting from Guliyakhali Beach and extending across the city, the initiative encourages citizens to actively participate in keeping their surroundings clean.

The Cleaning Initiative reflects MFJF’s commitment to environmental sustainability, youth engagement, and social responsibility by empowering communities to work together for a cleaner and greener future

Agro Rental Support

Mohsin-Fatema Youth Welfare Organization will lease agricultural machinery to farmers with the aim of contributing to agriculture and farmers. Farmers need a lot of equipment that they sometimes cannot afford or make the effort to buy. In addition to providing low-cost rental assistance, we will also provide them with training on the latest harvesting methods.

Save The Planet

The adverse effects of global warming are rapidly spreading through the environment and affecting the climate. To join the global campaign to save the planet, Mohsin Fatema Youth Welfare Foundation has taken the initiative of a tree planting project. At least 5,000 to 10,000 trees will be planted this year as part of the Millennium Tree Plantation Project.

Knowledge & Learning Sharing

To be able to compete in the crowded job market young generation need to improve their English Language proficiency skills. For this purpose, Mohsin-Fatema Youth Welfare Foundation has launched Spoken English Course for those who have passed SSC/HSC exams. In the long term, we plan to expand the program to school-age children and gradually to women.
