“Road to Light – SSC 2026”
Inauguration of Free Bus Service for Examinees
Under the initiative of the Mohsin Fatema Siddiqui Youth Welfare Foundation (MFJF) and with the sponsorship of Albion Group, the “Road to Light – SSC 2026” program has officially launched its free bus service for examinees today, April 21, 2026.
This initiative, aimed at ensuring safe, smooth, and timely transportation of SSC candidates in Sitakunda to their examination centers, is being conducted for the ninth time—setting a unique example.
This year’s designated routes are:
- Baro Darogarhat to Sitakunda
- Sitakunda to AK Khan
- Kumira to Sitakunda
Since 2022, this program has received an overwhelming response from students in Sitakunda and has been widely appreciated across different segments of society. The primary goal of this initiative is to relieve students of travel-related stress on exam days so they can focus entirely on their examinations.
MFJF has already implemented more than 60 diverse social and humanitarian initiatives across sectors such as education, healthcare, environment, and employment. Notable activities include Spoken English courses, free healthcare services, “Clean Sitakunda” campaigns, Patenga and Guliakhali drives, cancer screening programs, motivational sessions and knowledge sharing, Quran recitation competitions, tree plantation drives, hand-paint training, and installation of water purification plants in educational institutions.
In recognition of its continuous voluntary efforts, including the “Road to Light” bus service, the organization has received 4 international and 5 national awards.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Mr. Md. Fakhrul Islam, Upazila Nirbahi Officer. Special guests included Ms. Lutfun Nesa Begum, Upazila Social Services Officer & Probation Officer, Ms. Tahmina Tamanna, Upazila Women Affairs Officer, and Dr. Kallol Barua, Upazila Livestock Officer.
